A Rant on Haters

To define someone as a hater can be a broad statement. Generally speaking, it’s someone who hates on something or someone else. Yes, it’s quite obvious. However, there are seriously contrasting levels of being a hater so that if one is in fact called a “hater”, the intensity of their hatred is not specifically measured. Did you get that? I think that was a pretty bad sentence.

So what I am trying to say is, that there are many kinds of haters. Sometimes it’s a girl hating on another girl, commenting on her appearance when they do not even know them. It’s not just hypocritical but stupid to actually judge someone for the things that they are guilty of as well. For example:

Sara: Who is this girl on his facebook?
-clicks her profile picture-
Sara: Omg she wears so much makeup, ew it’s so caked omg she must be a slut

Or something ridiculous like that. The fact that makes this even more ridiculous is that Sara actually looks like this:

And to whoever this woman is, I mean no offense but that is a bit too much. However, you’re probably a celebrity so it’s understandable.

The other type of haters, I guess would be those celebrity haters who hate some celebrities for no reason. I agree with Daniel that Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber seem to be getting much hate these days. A majority of the “haters” think that they are annoying and have no purpose in life and so on. But then, they have to see that they are in no place to judge.

The haters must understand that before pointing fingers at someone else, they must point it at themselves. They must ask, “Why am I judging this person in the first place? Am I really that bored and have nothing to do with my life so that my only source of happiness is to pick on a celebrity who will probably never even know that I exist? Should I find a hobby?”. To the last question, I answer yes, you should find a new hobby. There are plenty of more things to do than to sit around and judge people. It gets boring after a while anyways.
